Creative Differences—started by Ryan Petersen and Larson McDonald—are musicians and visual artists who have been inseparable since the day they met in 2015. 

The duo grew up on LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, Arcade Fire, MGMT, and Gorillaz- building an early love for storytelling in their songs. 

Being a band in Southern California, they’ve been surrounded by revivals of punk or surf rock, but they make it clear they’re in their own lane; crafting a defined and passionate following with their characters, visual narratives, and left field social media presence. 

CD has been bent on crafting the perfect live experience since the first time they performed together, crafting their own costumes, lighting rigs, backing visuals, etc., and touring with all their gear and a TV stuffed in a minivan.
